    Another delivious summer treat….. What an array of colors, variants, and flavors *drool*

    Yield: 8 cups

    9 cup 1/2″ watermelon cubes
    1 1/2 cup ginger ale
    1/3 cup water
    6 ounce 1 can frozen limeade concentrate

    PREPARATION

    • Freeze watermelon cubes in single layers within extra-large zip-top plastic freezer bags. Freeze: 8 hours. Thaw: 15 minutes
    • Combine HALF of total ingredients: watermelon, ginger ale, water and limeade concentrate into blender. BLEND until smooth. POUR into pitcher
    • Repeat second step with remaining half of ingredients, serve immediately!

    VARIANT #1 ( Honey Dew Cooler)

    **Substitute 8 cups (1/2-inch) honeydew melon cubes for watermelon cubes and 1 (6-oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate for limeade concentrate; proceed as directed.

    VARIANT #2 ( Cantaloupe Cooler)

    **Substitute 8 cups (1/2-inch) cantaloupe cubes for watermelon, and add 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger to mixture in blender. Proceed as directed.
