Another delivious summer treat….. What an array of colors, variants, and flavors *drool*
Yield: 8 cups
| 9 | cup | 1/2″ watermelon cubes |
| 1 1/2 | cup | ginger ale |
| 1/3 | cup | water |
| 6 | ounce | 1 can frozen limeade concentrate |
PREPARATION
- Freeze watermelon cubes in single layers within extra-large zip-top plastic freezer bags. Freeze: 8 hours. Thaw: 15 minutes
- Combine HALF of total ingredients: watermelon, ginger ale, water and limeade concentrate into blender. BLEND until smooth. POUR into pitcher
- Repeat second step with remaining half of ingredients, serve immediately!
VARIANT #1 ( Honey Dew Cooler)
**Substitute 8 cups (1/2-inch) honeydew melon cubes for watermelon cubes and 1 (6-oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate for limeade concentrate; proceed as directed.
VARIANT #2 ( Cantaloupe Cooler)
**Substitute 8 cups (1/2-inch) cantaloupe cubes for watermelon, and add 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger to mixture in blender. Proceed as directed.
